L.A. Reid The X Factor Interview

It’s going amazingly well. I’m having a great time. I’m really enjoying the contestants. I’m really enjoying the judges. I’m really enjoying the time I spent with Simon Cowell, learning a lot, having a great time and it’s everything I hoped that it would be. I have a very different taste than Simon, so I may have made some very different choices, but Simon is incredible and the most experienced guy at doing what we’re doing here with THE X FACTOR and with talent competition on television. Mega superstar producer and record label executive, L.A. Reid has helped shaped the careers of some of the most successful names in music today. The music mogul has worked with Mariah Carey, Pink, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Kanye West, Avril Lavigne, Toni Braxton, TLC, Usher, Ciara, OutKast, Dido and others.

As current judge of The X Factor USA, Reid will once again lend his expertise to help shape the career of one lucky contestant from his team to compete for $5 million.

Premier Guide Media caught up with L.A. to discuss the challenges he’ll face and expectations as a judge and mentor on the series.
