On Thursday, October 29th sbe’s Katsuya South Beach at the SLS Hotel will host locally renowned painter Jose Mertz as he debuts his recent artistic contribution to the intimate Dragon Lounge. Following previous installations by Tatiana Suarez and Jona Cerwinske, the restaurant continues to lend its support and walls to the local art community with this latest collaboration. At the exclusive unveiling, guests will mix and mingle with the artist while enjoying bite-sized delicacies along with sbe’s signature cocktails including the fiery Burning Mandarin and the refreshing Watermelon Cucumber Mojito. A blend of art and hospitality, Jose brings his eclectic display of tigers with a fusion of Japanese culture in his unique style to the walls of the hip hideaway.
