Hulu’s “Family Guy” Holiday Special

Hulu is set to debut its exclusive Family Guy holiday special, “Gift of the White Guy,” on Monday, November 25. This marks the second Hulu-exclusive special for the beloved animated series, following the Halloween offering, “Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Cheater,” which is currently streaming.In “Gift of the White Guy,” Peter Griffin finds himself in a jam after mistakenly giving away Lois’ cherished Christmas brooch during a White Elephant gift exchange. Meanwhile, Stewie grapples with his inclusion on Santa’s “Naughty List,” leading to a shift in his attitude.

The iconic cast features Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis, and Arif Zahir, who bring their characters to life with razor-sharp humor and spot-on parodies that have kept audiences laughing since the show’s debut in 1999. With its spectacular animation and orchestra-backed original music, Family Guy has achieved cult status, notably thanks to its breakout star, a talking baby. The series has garnered numerous accolades, including Emmy nominations and wins.

MacFarlane’s multifaceted talents as creator and lead voice actor have earned him multiple nominations, including a recent nod for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance at the 2021 Emmys, adding to his previous accolades from 2016 to 2019. Alongside him, Borstein’s voice performance as Lois Griffin has also received recognition, including an Emmy win in 2018 and a nomination in 2024.
