In an announcement, Nickelodeon’s iconic “Burgermobile” will be making its first-ever appearance at the 97th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, November 23. This unique vehicle, weighing over 5,000 pounds, features a Burger Hood and French Fry bumper, paying homage to the cult classic ’90s feature film, Good Burger. The parade will also showcase beloved characters such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob SquarePants, Chase from PAW Patrol, and Pinkfong’s adorable Baby Shark.

Good Burger 2, the highly anticipated sequel, will exclusively debut on Paramount+ on Wednesday, November 22, just in time for its Parade debut on Thanksgiving Day. The film is produced by Nickelodeon Studios and stars Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell, bringing back the nostalgic and hilarious world of Good Burger.

Not only will Nickelodeon bring the nostalgia of Good Burger to the Parade, but fans can also expect an impressive float based on this summer’s critically acclaimed animated film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. Towering at almost 18 feet, the multilevel float will transport viewers to the Ooze-filled cityscape of the movie, featuring the fearsome foursome battling Superfly and other mutants to keep New York City safe once again.

Jordan Dabby, producer of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, expressed excitement about the inclusion of Nickelodeon’s iconic characters in this year’s spectacle. The live spectators in New York City and viewers nationwide are expected to be delighted and dazzled by the presence of these beloved characters.

Veronica Hart, Executive Vice President of Global Franchise Planning and Consumer Products Marketing at Paramount Global, highlighted the Parade’s significance in promoting Good Burger 2 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. She emphasized that the Parade will provide a taste of nostalgia and big laughs in these highly anticipated November releases.

Apart from the Burgermobile and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Parade will also feature returning fan-favorites such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Baby Shark, and PAW Patrol’s Chase character balloon, celebrating the animated series’ 10th anniversary.

The 97th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be broadcast nationwide in the U.S. on NBC and can be streamed on Peacock on Thursday, November 23, 2023. Check local listings for specific details.
