Gloria Estefan, Venus Williams, Jeff Conine, Jessica Simpson, Donald Pliner, Jim Kick, Tom Amberry, Nicky Hilton, and Paris Hilton all designed and autographed individual articles of clothing, from sneakers to tennis gears, in an effort to support the students at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. The autographed items were auctioned off and the proceeds benefited the Art Institute’s scholarship program.
Synergy Art and Music Festival, an event organized by the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale was held on Saturday, December 12, 2009, on the campus. The aim of the event is to bring the campus and the community together through music, fashion, art and food. The students of the institution were given a chance to showcase thier talents and creativity to the community which in turn allowed them to benefit through the sales made from this event.
