The Comedy Club at the newly expanded Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood will enter 2020 with a star-studded line up of comedy’s best. Craig Shoemaker will kick off New Year’s Eve with a special show on Tuesday, Dec. 31. In addition, “the comedian’s comedian” Gilbert Gottfried will perform live from Jan. 23 to Jan. 26. Joining Gottfried next month is John Heffron Jan. 2 to Jan. 5 and Dom Irrera who will take the stage Jan. 9 to Jan. 12.

Tickets are on sale now. Guests at The Comedy Club must be at least 18 years of age. The Comedy Club has a two-drink minimum per ticket (non-alcoholic drinks qualify). For more information on ticket prices or to purchase tickets, please visit www.hrcomedyclub.com.

A two-time Emmy Award winner, Shoemaker is best known for his relatable standup and iconic character, “The Lovemaster.” He was featured on hit television shows such as “Parks & Recreation,” “The Bold & The Beautiful” and “Daditude.” Shoemaker’s one-hour standup special “Unzipped” premiered on Comedy Central and spent six weeks on Billboard Top 20.

Gottfried is one of the most recognizable voiceover talents, lending his voice to several commercials, cartoons and movies, including the frustrated duck in the AFLAC Insurance commercials. In 2017, “Gilbert” the documentary about Gottfried premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Director Neil Berkeley’s “Gilbert” reveals an unexpected side to the iconic comedian. The film tells a personal story about him growing up in Brooklyn and becoming a husband and father late in life. During his standups, Gottfried puts aside political correctness for his live performance and fires an onslaught of jokes that has no boundaries.

Heffron is the winner of the second season of NBC’s hit reality competition “Last Comic Standing” and has performed on “The Tonight Show,” “Chelsea Lately,” “The Late Late Show,” HBO, FX, VH1, A&E and CMT. Heffron remains one of a handful of veteran performers to tape two separate Comedy Central specials and has an hour-long special, “Middle Class Funny,” on Netflix.

Six-time American Academy Award nominee Irrera has had several HBO stand-up specials and has performed on multiple latenight comedy shows. Irrera guest starred on television series such as “Seinfeld,” “Becker,” “Everybody Loves Raymond” and “King of Queens.”

The Comedy Club is South Florida’s premier venue for stand-up comedy and hosts acclaimed comedians weekly, including top-name talent recognized on TV and streaming platforms. The new 400-seat venue offers a variety of seating including plush couches, family-style tables and highboys, and a full bar with light food options.
