Four Exceptional South Florida “Rising Star” Students & Nonprofit Organizations Honored by Miami Dolphins & Sun Life Financial at Special On-field Ceremony

  The Dolphins and Sun Life will recognize four outstanding South Florida students and                                        area nonprofit organizations at a special on-field pre-game presentation at Sun Life                                            Stadium prior to the Dolphins’ showdown against the Buffalo Bills. The honorees received                                $220,000 in grants and scholarships as part of the Sun Life Rising Star Awards program.

 

The group will enter the field in grand style on their way to the sideline ceremony after being treated to a breakfast reception hosted by Dolphins CEO Mike Dee, Sun Life Financial Regional Vice President Rob Georgiou and head coach Tony Sparano’s wife, Jeanette Sparano, who helped select the recipients in her role as a Sun Life Rising Star Awards judge.

 

The Sun Life Rising Star Awards program is the education cornerstone program of the Miami Dolphins Foundation.
