“Deliriously funny… must see theater!” —The Miami Herald

The side-splitting savagery known as FORBIDDEN BROADWAY, which took Miami by storm in 2008 and broke box office records for the Carnival Studio Theater returns for two weeks only, December 14-26, starring the acclaimed New York cast!  Now celebrating its 29th hilarious year, this exciting return engagement features all new Broadway victims, many that have recently played in Miami including Wicked, Spring Awakening, and Mamma Mia! as well as many Broadway hits soon to have their Miami premieres, such as Jersey Boys and Beauty and the Beast.  Plus, hilarious new looks at old favorites Phantom of the Opera, Little Shop of Horrors, Les Misérables, and Chicago.  Rounding out the laughs are Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein, a comic tribute to Stephen Sondheim, plus lots more Broadway past and present.

FORBIDDEN BROADWAY recently received a special Tony Award for Excellence in the Theatre, and also boasts a 2009 Drama Desk Award, Obie Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, and the Broadway.com Audience Favorite Award.
