Columbus Day Regatta 2010

 

On October 9 & 10, 2010 the oldest event on Biscayne Bay will be running again as usual, the 56th Annual Columbus Day Regatta. The regatta committee is presenting numerous new venues to revitalize this regatta and bring back the enthusiasm of the past. Come join us and race in the greenest sport on the earth! 

Open to Beach Cats 14’ or larger and scored on the Portsmouth handicap system. Trailer parking will be available at Dinner Key and Matheson Hammock. 

The courses remain the same as in 2009 so the Saturday finish / Sunday start is just north of Black Ledge, allowing sailors the easier option of returning shore side for the night or continuing down to Elliot. 

Dockside BBQ at CRYC commencing at 1730 Saturday, October 9, 2010 will return this year, food, sponsors to be announced. 

Trophies presented to the first three yachts in each class. New trophies were designed for 2009. 

Entry form is online for easier registration as well as pre-ordering t-shirts and Dinner reservations for the dockside BBQ. New retail items available online. 

Raffle ticket included with each entry packet for weekend getaway at the Mutiny in Coconut Grove. 

Many other beautiful and unique items to be raffled at the awards party to benefit youth sailing organizations.
