Lavish Event Rentals, Florida's premier luxury event furnishings and décor brand, brought back its annual Lavish Soirée on September 9th at Paradise Plaza in the Miami Design District. The evening gathered South Florida's top event and wedding professionals, designers, hospitality leaders, and creative partners for an immersive showcase of Lavish's newest collections.
A Gallery, Not a Showroom
Rather than displaying individual pieces in a traditional showroom format, Lavish brought its collections to life through a series of sensory-driven installations inspired by the aesthetic of an art gallery. Set against all-white backdrops, each installation was designed to showcase the versatility of Lavish's offerings — encouraging guests to interact with the designs and experience furnishings, tabletop pieces, and décor as part of fully realized event concepts.
"We decided to go beyond a traditional showroom setting this year so guests could experience what's possible when you take a piece of our furniture or décor and build an entire environment around it," said Raul Rodriguez, Founder of Lavish Event Rentals. "Every detail was designed to engage the senses and show how our collections can completely transform a space, and there's something really exciting about sharing what we've created with the Miami event community."
The Installations
Among the evening's standout displays was a striking blue tablescape set against a pool-inspired backdrop — complete with cascading water, blue florals, and Lavish's statement pieces, including Hermès tableware and Christofle silverware. Additional installations offered entirely different takes on event design: an intimate candlelit dinner setting filled with Baccarat crystal plates and glassware, and a monochromatic yellow display featuring plush textured rugs, greenery, and statement lamps.
Set against the Miami Design District at sunset, the Soirée created an inviting setting for guests to connect and mingle while taking in the installations. The evening featured drinks, light bites, and a cookies and ice cream station for dessert. The event was sponsored by Miami Design District, H&C Collective, Ines Naftali, Ketel One Vodka, Event Factor, Inedit, and I.A.P.
The 11th Soirée
"This was our 11th Soirée, so it's really special to be back after three years," said Rodriguez. "I'm especially proud of the creativity, craftsmanship and innovation my team brought to every detail of the event. Being able to share that with everyone in a way they could actually experience made coming back to the Miami event community that much more meaningful."
About Lavish Event Rentals
Lavish is one of the few event rental companies in the United States with in-house fabrication capabilities, backed by a 50,000-square-foot warehouse of luxury furnishings and décor. The brand offers Pantone-matched finishes, exclusive patterns, and brand-specific detailing — and has defined high-profile events for luxury brands including Aston Martin, Louis Vuitton, and Tiffany & Co. since 2010.
Earlier this year, Lavish expanded with the opening of a 2,500-square-foot showroom in Winter Park, bringing its luxury event furnishings and designer tableware to Central Florida's growing event and wedding community. Lavish was born out of 2R Creative, the Miami-based experiential design and production firm founded by Rodriguez in 2000 — responsible for Art Basel installations and immersive brand moments for Gucci, American Express, and Moët & Chandon.
