The UIM E1 World Championship — the world's first all-electric raceboat championship — returns for its second year in Miami on November 13–14, bringing its season finale to Biscayne Bay at the Miami Seaplane Base. Think F1 on water: sleek hydrofoiling RaceBird boats, teams featuring both a male and female pilot, and a celebrity ownership roster that reads like a guest list.
The Owners
Team owners for the 2026 season include Tom Brady, LeBron James, Will Smith, Steve Aoki, Rafael Nadal, Marc Anthony, and Didier Drogba. This year's first-ever double-header race weekend brings teams and fans to Miami for a luxury sporting experience that combines high-speed competition with waterfront hospitality.
How to Experience It
The racing itself will be visible to the public on Biscayne Bay. For a more elevated experience, the Ocean Club offers waterfront race viewing paired with premium hospitality and the championship's official cocktail — the Sparkling Lemon, made with Bombay Sapphire, sparkling lemonade, and a fresh lemon twist.
Bombay Sapphire, the championship's official gin and cocktail sponsor, is bringing the Sparkling Lemon to menus at iconic bars across Miami, so Miamians can get a taste of the tournament at their favorite local spots. Visitors can also get an up-close look at a RaceBird through an installation in the lobby of Loews Miami Beach Hotel.
