For the last eight years, NetJets celebrated the opening of Art Basel by honoring an acclaimed artist or art collector at a private cocktail reception for NetJets Owners and guests. This year, NetJets continued its tradition of honoring the world’s most influential artists, partnering with Lehmann Maupin Gallery to host the NetJets Collectors Cocktail, in honor of legendary artist Tony Oursler.
This invitation-only event was held at the Delano, located in the heart of Miami Beach, and features a site-specific outdoor installation, created specifically for the Delano space by Mr. Oursler.
Following the event, the installation was made accessible to the public from 10:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30.
In past years, NetJets has honored such artists as Richard Prince, Alex Katz and Jaume Plensa, and art collectors Leonard Lauder and Donald Marron.
