The 2026 FIFA World Cup will kick off with an opening game featuring Mexico against South Africa on June 11, and Aventura’s most authentic Mexican restaurant will offer fans a front-row seat. Jacinta de México, Aventura Mall’s newest dining destination, the opening matches a cause for fiesta with a mariachi band and special treats. Celebrations will continue during each match round with a new bar bites menu and a custom cocktail flight.
At 3 p.m., excited soccer fans will fill the restaurant donning signature green, white and red attire ready to cheer on the host team. Guests can expect a live mariachi ensemble, large-screen TVs, flags and festive decor, setting the tone for what promises to be a series-long celebration.

During every World Cup match, Jacinta’s new Bar Bites Menu will be extended beyond the “La Cantina” bar to all tables. Features include Chicken Flauta with pasilla chile and avocado-cilantro salsa; Crispy Shrimp Tempura Taco with white hummus, Baja slaw and chipotle aioli; Home-Smoked Salmon Tostada with nixtamalized black bean chipotle hummus, avocado, Baja slaw and chipotle aioli; the restaurant’s signature Smoked Brisket Taco with Mexican rub and house salsa; plus many more mouthwatering dishes. All items are priced per piece.
When Mexico headlines a match, traditional ingredients meet national pride with “La Banderita Flight,” a trio of craft margaritas in green, white and red. The La Famosa is built on apple purée, fresh lime and triple sec, while Sandy’s layers watermelon purée under a spiced salt rim, and the Cilantro-Maracuyá brings passion fruit and fresh lime together with cilantro and Cointreau.
The Bar Bites Menu will be available at the La Cantina Bar or tableside during match games. La Banderita margarita flight will be available during all match games for $24.
