Miami welcomes the groundbreaking Pop Air exhibition, opening May 16 at Mana Wynwood, showcasing innovative inflatable and air-based contemporary art. This global traveling exhibit features monumental installations and interactive sculptures by top artists including Tadao Cern, Rub Kandy, Jimmy Kuehnle, Cyril Lancelin, Christopher Schardt, Alex Schweder, Sun Yitian, Lucas Zanotto, ENESS, Hyperstudio, MOTOREFISICO, and Quiet Ensemble.
Designed as a multisensory journey, Pop Air invites visitors to touch, explore, and engage with art that blurs the line between audience and creation. Highlights include Hyperstudio and Quiet Ensemble’s Hypercosmo, a luminous ecosystem of projections and sound; MOTOREFISICO’s kinetic suspended spheres; Cyril Lancelin’s inflatable geometric maze, Crazy Love for Polygons; and Christopher Schardt’s LED butterfly sculpture, Mariposa.
Since debuting in Rome in 2021, Balloon Museum has grown into a global cultural phenomenon, winning awards for its innovative merging of art, entertainment, and public participation. Each edition is uniquely tailored to its host city while maintaining its core theme: air as both a medium and metaphor.
Set in Wynwood’s expansive, industrial-style Mana Wynwood, the exhibition offers an immersive, shareable experience perfect for art lovers and curious explorers alike. Tickets start at $32 for children and $41 for adults, with hours from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Monday-Wednesday) and extended hours on weekends.
