Miami Beach’s iconic Ocean Drive is about to get even more vibrant with the upcoming debut of Casa Cañita, a boutique hotel that marks a new chapter for La Cañita. While La Cañita first opened in late 2025, this second phase introduces an expansive experience—culminating in a lively unveiling event on April 23, 2026.
Located at 1200 Ocean Drive, Casa Cañita is a hotel inspired by Cuban and Caribbean rum culture, infused with nostalgia for Ocean Drive’s golden era when it was a shared space for all. Designed by Michelle Bernstein’s sister, Nikki, the property features thoughtfully curated spaces and secret surprises, including Room 305, which transforms into a speakeasy for the evening.
Guests can enjoy an evening of music, dancing, craft cocktails, and a vibrant menu curated by Michelle Bernstein. The celebration will take place on April 23 at 7 p.m., with the first look at the hotel’s unique vibe and hidden gems.
