ChildNet hosted its Third Annual Palm Beach Care for Kids Luncheon which
benefitted and showed support for foster care children in Palm Beach County
on Tuesday, April 5th. The event, emceed by CBS 12 News Anchor Liz
Quirantes, was an opportunity for the Palm Beach community to rally behind
ChildNet, Palm Beach County’s community-based care lead agency responsible
for administration of the local child welfare system.
During the luncheon, Kerry Diaz, owner of Curate Clothes Boutique, former
foster parent and philanthropist, was honored for her outstanding support of
ChildNet and her commitment to Palm Beach County’s foster care children.
Guests also heard from Dariane Taylor, a former foster care youth, about her
experience in Palm Beach’s foster care system and how it impacted her life.
