The first day of the 2011 CANON FLORIDA GOLF CLASSIC CELEBRITY WEEKEND benefiting the NAT MOORE FOUNDATION kicked off last night in grand style with a Celebrity Party and Auction at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa. The cirque-themed festivity was attended by more than 70 current and legendary sports personalities and past Nat Moore Foundation scholarship recipients. At noon today (Sunday, March 20, 2011), the Nat Moore Foundation will host a free Junior Golf Clinic, conducted by The First Tee of Miami-Dade County, for disadvantaged children and youth learning to play golf. The three-day extravaganza will end on Monday, March 21 with a celebrity golf tournament at Doral). Proceeds from the event will enable the Nat Moore Foundation to continue to provide scholarships and support for disadvantaged youth in South Florida.
