     2-1-1 Broward hosted a fabulous Club 2-1-1 Connecting Event for seventy-five local business people and members of the community at Grille 401 on Las Olas Boulevard on Thursday,  July 11th.  The engaging cocktail party was sponsored by Integrated Technology Corporate Solutions, Inc. (ITCS), Best Care and The Wasie Foundation.  During the event, guests enjoyed an evening of networking and cocktails and a delicious array of hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Grille 401.  Kip Hunter, 2-1-1 Broward Board Member and CEO of Kip Hunter Marketing, welcomed everyone and told the guests about all the amazing work and services that 2-1-1 Broward provides for our communities. She then introduced the two Event Ambassadors, Alan Geffin, Esq., Managing Partner with GPG Law; and 2-1-1 Broward Board Member Jen Klaassens, Vice President of Programs for The Wasie Foundation; who both thanked all the guests for attending and for their continued support of  2-1-1 Broward.  Geffin also spoke about how important it is to continue to get the word out to let the community to let them know about all the resources that 2-1-1 Broward provides.  Additionally, 2-1-1 Broward client, Mellissa, shared her heartfelt story about how 2-1-1 Broward assisted her and her autistic son in their time of need.   Eye on South Florida was a media sponsor of the event.
