Zignum Mezcal, Grand Central and Poplife present “Win a Date with Sleigh Bells,” a Facebook contest offering the opportunity to win a VIP experience package for four to see the Brooklyn-based noise-pop duo, Sleigh Bells, perform LIVE at Grand Central on April 30, 2011. Sleigh Bells is currently on a nationwide tour performing songs from their latest album Treats. The Facebook contest winner will receive four VIP tickets to the concert, table service featuring two complimentary bottles of Zignum Mezcal, as well as a bag of “hipster goodies” including Wayfarer sunglasses, t-shirts, temporary moustache tattoos and more.
Fans can enter to win by “liking” the Mexican spirit’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Zignum and posting a clever personal status detailing why they deserve to win a date with Sleigh Bells and tagging Zignum on their post. The status post should read, “—BLANK— makes me so unsophisticatedly refined, @ZignumMezcal should give me VIP Sleigh Bells tickets, free Zignum bottle service and other treats.” This post references Zignum’s current “Unsophisticatedly Refined” promotional campaign, which highlights the traditionally unsophisticated artisanal process of producing mezcal; now refined by Zignum’s modern techniques and new-school Oaxaca “mezcaleros.”
Zignum will choose the winner based on the most titillating and creative status update. Contest dates are from April 7 through April 21, 2011 and contestants must be 21 to enter. The winner will be announced on Facebook on April 22, 2011.
