Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: WINN ) celebrates a fresh new year during Rosh Hashanah with cooking demonstrations and in-store sampling at select stores throughout South Florida.
“Winn-Dixie is excited to offer shoppers cooking demonstrations and sampling in celebration of Rosh Hashanah,” said Deborah Shapiro, specialty foods category manager, Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. “These demonstrations not only allow shoppers to learn quick and easy recipes, but also provides them with an opportunity to sample and learn more about Winn-Dixie’s more than 1,000 kosher-certified corporate brand products.”
Chef Doris, a highly respected culinary designer and author specializing in quick and simple kosher recipes, will provide live cooking demonstrations supervised by Star-K and ORB. Selected recipes include gefilte fish patties in tomato sauce and Israeli couscous with mushrooms.
