Fishing is a great outdoor activity that the entire family can enjoy together. Rediscover this favorite sport and pastime and have a “reel” fun, family day at Miami-Dade Parks’ annual free event Vamos a Pescar (Let’s go Fishing), Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Tropical Park’s North Lake.
The event will feature recreational and educational fishing, including learning how to cast a line and tie a knot, as well as fishing on the lake and wildlife viewing. Everyone is encouraged to bring a fishing pole. Parking is available near the boxing center/police memorial.
