South Floridians dreaming of a white Christmas do not have to look any further than Tri-Rail’s Winter Wonderland, happening on Saturday, December 14, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Tri-Rail’s Miami Airport Station. The free, family-friendly event will feature 20 tons of snow, bounce houses, food trucks, face painting, cookie decorating, a coloring station, holiday carolers and a Broadway Across America ticket raffle.
Event goers are encouraged to ride the train to the event. Tickets are $5 to ride Tri-Rail for the entire day or $2.50 for students, seniors, and persons with disabilities who have a registered discount EASY Card. Kids under 5 years ride for free.

The Salvation Army of Broward will be at the event collecting funds through its Red Kettle program to help families in need. The Salvation Army Red Kettle, synonymous with the holiday season, has been a tradition since 1895. All proceeds from the local Kettles support the Salvation Army’s feeding, shelter and social service programs.
