Allison Freidin – Co-Founder, Museum of Graffiti & Art of Hip Hop

Allison Freidin, a third-generation Miami native, co-founded the Museum of Graffiti and Art of Hip Hop exhibit. Museum of Graffiti is the world’s first institution exclusively dedicated to preserving, exhibiting, and celebrating graffiti art. Art of Hip Hop has proudly provided a home for iconic works created by Hip Hop’s unsung heroes: the photographers, album cover artists, graffiti legends, and logo designers who shaped the visual identity of Hip Hop as we know it today. Currently, the Art of Hip Hop acts as the first entity in the world exclusively focused on the gallery representation of famous Hip Hop photographers from varying generations. As a passionate advocate for urban art, Allison has produced at least four urban art shows per year, collaborated with over 50 artists on limited edition licensed merchandise, and fostered art-infused partnerships with global brands like Xerox, Levi’s, Mattel, Formula 1, and Nestle. Before her venture into the art world, Allison was a practicing attorney committed to finding creative solutions to combat gun violence in Miami’s at-risk communities.
