The Testament of Dr. Mabuse

Before Hannibal Lecter, there was Dr. Mabuse. First from the confines of an asylum, then from beyond the grave, a diabolical doctor orchestrates elaborate crimes in Fritz Lang’s 1933 German-language film. Come to The Wolf at 6:30pm for a reception and a short talk by chief curator Silvia Barisione about how our collection reflects German culture at a moment of political upheaval, then stick around for the 7pm screening.
