The Miami premiere of the THE LATINO LIST on Tuesday, September 20th at the Colony Theatre is presented by HBO, HBO Latino and AT&T in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

 

The HBO Documentary Films presentation THE LATINO LIST provides a unique glimpse into the vibrant and burgeoning culture of Hispanic America through a series of highly personal video portraits of Latinos who have richly contributed to the fabric of contemporary society. Directed by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders (HBO’s “The Black List”), the film spotlights Latinos from a variety of backgrounds, including Cuban, Colombian, Honduran, Mexican, and Puerto Rican, and each subject has a different perspective on his or her American success story, which often started from a strong family background.

José Moreno Hernandez – American engineer of Mexican descent and NASA astronaut who is a member of the program’s elite Top 100

Pitbull – Born in Miami of Cuban immigrant parents, Armando Christian Pérez is a singer, record producer and international pop star.

Julie Stav – Cuban-born financial guru and planner, bestselling author, and host of an acclaimed daily call-in radio show
