Having made a sensational debut in South Florida over 8 months ago, The AMPARO™ Experience, has announced that its final day of performances for 2019 will be held on Sunday, November 24th, 2019. Produced by Broadway Factor, written by Vanessa Garcia, and directed by Victoria Collado, “AMPARO” allows guests to bear first hand witness to the struggles and triumphs of the Arechabala family, founders of THE REAL HAVANA CLUB rum. Theatergoers are transported from present-day Miami to 1957-Cuba, where they follow cast members through the Cuban Revolution, becoming an integral part of the story and paying tribute to the original family rum recipe, that also happens to include a captivating series of The Real HAVANA CLUB cocktails.

“It has been a privilege and honor to bring this one-of-a-kind theatrical experience that is so full of love and truth,” said Chris Ha, Brand Manager of The Real HAVANA CLUB  rum. “AMPARO has far exceeded all of my expectations and I am so very proud of the magic that we created!”
Through AMPARO’s unique and truthful storytelling it has continued to captivate sold-out audiences since its opening night performance on April 12th, 2019, and by the end of November, approximately 23,000 patrons in the City of Miami will have seen the cultural phenomenon. Some of the guests who have journeyed through AMPARO include Gloria and Emilio Estefan, U.S Senator Marco Rubio, Ana Navaro, The Diaz-Balart brothers, Pamela Silva-Conde and Adrienne Calvo. By the time it plays its final performance, the hit immersive theatrical experience will have played 250 performances over 30 weeks.
“Since we first began creating this production, we always knew that AMPARO would be a success, especially here in Miami, but what I never imagined was for people to thank us. Each show, we have guests coming up to us and thanking us for telling this story and sharing this truth that so many of us have lived through” said Victoria Collado, Director of  The AMPARO™ Experience. “AMPARO isn’t just a story for Cubans, it is a story for anyone who has ever loved so deeply and lost.”
