“Compelling and highly entertaining…replete with high-octane theatricality!” – Chicago Tribune
“You can – and you should – see The House Theatre’s fantasy trilogy in full!” – TimeOut Chicago

The House Theatre of Chicago’s Artistic Director, Nathan Allen, employs an epic format to create a multi-part, all-day theatrical adventure in the heroic, larger-than-life tradition of Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones. THE HAMMER TRINITY tells the story of young Casper Kent, who discovers he is the rightful heir to the Crown, recovers the lost Hammer, and defends it against pirates and the Crownless faction. Audiences will be taken on a grand journey of adventure, romance, spectacular battle scenes, dragons and more!

THE HAMMER TRINITY is designed as the ultimate binge-watching experience. Performances are on Saturdays and Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m. The day includes 7 acts, 6 ½ hours of play, and 2 ½ hours of breaks (including time for dinner). Audiences won’t go more than 65 minutes without a break. The Arsht Center’s on-site restaurants, BRAVA! and the Café at Books & Books, will have special food and beverage packages available during all performances.

NOTE: The Arsht Center commissioned a comic book to help audiences get acquainted with the story. The comic book acts as a prologue to The Hammer Trinity and is available now for FREE. Hard copy is available at the Arsht Center Box Office and at Arsht Con. Digital copy can be downloaded here: https://arshtcentersuzetteespinosa.sharefile.com/d-s26cec9d6c2447cda
