TAG HEUERCELEBRATES MIAMI GRAND PRIX IN JUNGLE PLAZA

In celebration of Miami Race Week, TAG Heuer hosted a private cocktail event at Miami Design District’s Jungle Plaza where the Oracle Red Bull Racing team and celebrities competed in the ultimate go-kart experience

Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer gathered collectors, celebrities and friends of the brand at the Miami Design District Jungle Plaza installation for a thrilling celebration of their partnership with the Oracle Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team in honor of Miami Race Week.

TAG Heuer’s ambassadors and reigning World Champion Max Verstappen and his Oracle Red Bull Racing teammate Checo Perez put the pedal to the metal during an intense race around the track, as guests cheered them on from the sideline. Friends of the brand, Paulina Vega and Madelyn Cline were next behind the wheel racing to the finish line for their chance at championing first place on the winner’s podium.

“We were delighted to celebrate the inaugural F1 Miami Grand Prix with an exciting TAG Heuer takeover in the heart of Miami’s Design District. The brand’s longstanding passion for racing really came alive in this fun outdoor go-karting experience and it was wonderful to see so many of our friends and clients enjoy some lighthearted competition tonight” says Benjamin Beaufils, President of TAG Heuer North America “We were also very proud to host our partner the Oracle Red Bull Racing Team and their exceptional drivers Max and Checo who shared some inspiring stories. We wish them a fantastic race on the new track, and we will be cheering them on!”

During the evening, the master of ceremony and professional race car driver, Samantha Tan, welcomed the Oracle Red Bull Racing headliners to the stage to discuss the anticipation of race day, season reflections, and of course, their performance on the TAG Heuer Miami Experience go-kart track.

DJ Pedro Cavaliere entranced the guests from atop the bridgeway overlooking the go-kart track and jubilant crowd. As a stunning backdrop to it all, splashed across the grand mural wall in Jungle Plaza, TAG Heuer installed a painterly interpretation of Max Verstappen’s Oracle Red Bull Racing car with bold textures, team livery, and abstractions of velocity. Among the crowd, notable VIP guests included Gunna, Austin Mahone, Bambi Blythe, Manuel Turizo and more.

To honor racetrack favorites, guests were treated to elevated light bites. At the bar, TAG Heuer branded cocktails and mocktails with an energetic twist courtesy of Red Bull were served with motorsport-inspired names like The Pit Stop. Surrounding the go-kart track, guests enjoyed a unique brand journey, discovering the latest TAG Heuer Formula 1 x Red Bull Racing special edition chronographs housed in gas pump-style vitrines, and learned about the long-standing history of the watchmaker in motorsport told through a branded container exhibition.

The TAG Heuer event welcomed watch collectors, friends of the brand, celebrities and influencers to mingle and compete against one another in a true celebration of motorsports and a festive send-off to the Oracle Red Bull Racing team as they geared up for Formula 1’s newest race.
