A fun and free educational day awaits kids of all ages at Dadeland Mall, as the Simon Kidgits Club hosts a “Safe Summer” event. Fun for the whole family, the “Safe Summer” event will help parents teach their kids to play it safe by featuring safety demonstrations and allowing kids the opportunity to interact with the Miami-Dade Police Department, Citizens Crime Watch of Miami-Dade County and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department.
In addition, kids can have their photos taken with McGruff the Crime Dog® and get an up-close look at Miami-Dade’s mobile unit and helicopter display, which will be located in the Limited Express Parking Lot. All Kidgits Kids Club members will receive smile face wristbands, foam visors, bug jar craft kits and more. Florida Blue is a sponsor of all Dadeland Mall Kidgits events.

The Simon Kidgits Club’s Summer Safety event is free to members. Families can sign up for the Kidgits Club, during regular mall hours, for an annual membership fee of $5.
