Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and Seminole Casino Hollywood Give Back to the Community

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and Seminole Casino Hollywood will be giving back to the community this Thanksgiving holiday with a donation of 300 Thanksgiving turkeys, themed platters and serving utensils to The Pantry of Broward. The Pantry of Broward’s mission is to provide food and support services to low-income seniors in need and to grandparents raising grandchildren.

“While the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Seminole Casino Hollywood  both are pleased to support a variety of charities year-round, Thanksgiving is an especially heartfelt time for us. It is our honor to reach out to the seniors and families served by The Pantry of Broward to provide these meals as a ‘thank you’ for their many contributions to our lives over the years,” said Phil Madow, president of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

The delivery of this massive package will take place on Tuesday, November 23 at 10 a.m. at The Pantry of Broward located at 610 NW 3rd Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.

“In these tough economic times, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s generous meals and accompaniments will mean the world to The Pantry of Broward’s families,” said Catherine “Penny” Loughan, CEO, The Pantry of Broward.  “Who could have predicted that when these folks were working hard and saving for retirement that a loaf of bread would cost $2 or a bottle of orange juice would cost $3? This holiday gift will put a priceless smile on many faces.”
