Rok:Brgr,The first gourmet burger joint and gastro pub coming to Ft. Laurdedale

Introducing Ft. Lauderdale’s new vice: Rok:Brgr. It will be the first gourmet burger joint and gastro pub, where every burger is handmade, always fresh and never frozen. In an effort to distinguish themselves among popular eateries, the owners of Rok:Brgr hand crafted a menu that includes 20 burgers, a variety of gourmet pub-grub dinning, a full bar, and more than 50 craft beer selections from around the country.

Merging their knowledge and experience of the hospitality industry, Marc Falsetto and Mark Mughabghab set out to create Rok:Brgr. Marc Falsetto first made his mark on the South Florida culinary scene in 2006, when he opened Primo’s Italian Restaurant and Martini Bar in the Double Tree Grand Hotel.  Mark Mughabghab, brought eight years of hospitality expertise,   working for prominent bar and lounges across the state of Florida. Chef Robyn Martinez craft the restaurant’s menu from-scratch, including its 100 percent certified Nebraskan Black Angus beef burgers, hand-cut French fries, and gourmet pub food. Martinez has worked in several of South Florida’s top restaurants, including China Grill, Shula’s and Falsetto’s own Primo’s Italian Restaurant.

Guests will have the opportunity to savor the signature Rok:Brgr the namesake piece, made with certified Black Angus, Vermont aged cheddar, smoked bacon, and  the pièce de résistance, a house made bacon bourbon barbecue sauce. “We pride ourselves in serving the highest grade of “Certified” Black Angus beef and American Kobe Beef from small boutique farmers” said Mark Mughabghab, Managing Partner.
Expect a wide range of choices, including create-your-own options with a variety of toppings to choose from. Ranging from $8 to $15, there will be ground lamb, tuna, turkey, and chicken patties, in addition to tantalizing toppings like grilled pineapple and roasted beets. For a gourmet touch you can indulge in an American Kobe burger topped with foie gras and Gruyère.  Alongside the burgers, the gastropub menu will include lobster corn dogs and good ol’ truffle mac, as well as health-conscious and low-carb options.

If the bar scene is more what you prefer, Rok:Brgr will have a full liquor bar with hand muddled cocktails, including its

signature drink, the “Bacon Bourbon Old Fashioned” a bacon infused bourbon made in-house with Canadian maple

syrup and orange bitters to create a wickedly indulgent take on the classic cocktail.

Adorned in exposed brick and black leather banquettes, guest will feel as if they stepped into Prohibition-era Chicago. “We wanted to bring the kind of concept that’s popular in big cities like New York and Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale,” said Marc Falsetto, Managing Partner.

“It’s a great location with a lot of energy,” said Marc Falsetto.  Lunch will be served daily from 11:30 a.m., with the kitchen and bar staying open nightly until 2 a.m. during the weekdays; and 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. “My colleague and I are incredibly excited to introduce Rok:Brgr to Ft. Laurdedale,” said Mark Mughabghab.  “We love the city’s dynamic culture and diverse community, we believe it is the ideal home for Rok:Brgr.”
