To pursue his interest in art and culture Robert attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in international relations.

He believes in a quickly changing world the most valuable component to his education has been his photographic exploration of over ninety countries on five continents.

Robert’s Photography work explores themes of man’s coexistence with the environment through fashion and architecture.

His fashion mages have been published in Vogue, People, Town & Country, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, and Esquire.

Always evolving, his successful entry into the world of Fine art photography has been recognized by many notable private collectors. Robert’s photographs now appear in the private collections of His Majesty Abdullah Hussein, King of Jordan, Miguel Forbes, Alex Sapir and Ivanka Trump.

Sold out shows in Manhattan at The Forbes Gallery in 2002 and 2005, were followed by one man shows at Mission Gallery, in Miami, which showcased his photography during Art Basel in 2006 and 2007.

His coffee table book of photography entitled “Asian Dreams” documents 20 years of travels with photographs of six countries in Asia It has been well received by many collectors and the book is available through this website.

Most recently Robert Curran has been chosen to be the exclusive photographer for The Trump Soho Hotel in Manhattan. His images infuse the lobby, lounges and guest rooms with vibrant images of iconic architecture and diverse cultures from around the globe.

Robert has worked with major agencies such as DBB worldwide, Young and Rubicam, and Ogilvy & Mather to create successful product campaigns in the US and Europe.
