ReeFLorida Symposium

Monday, November 6 – Thursday, November 9 I Times Vary

Frost Science is dedicated to marine conservation and responding to the threats Florida’s Coral Reef is facing. In 2022, with support from NOAA, the museum established the National Coral Reef Conservancy (ReeFLorida), an interdisciplinary marine science hub to provide unique opportunities for ongoing education and collaborative research, with the goal of conserving, restoring, and enhancing Florida’s Coral Reef.

Researchers, conservation professionals and educators will convene at Frost Science for the first ever ReeFLorida Symposium to share their work. This four-day event will feature plenary talks, short presentations, and posters all highlighting the important scientific, conservation and education work being done to protect and restore this vial ecosystem.
