Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is pleased to announce the lineup for CURRENTS, the museum’s first-ever quarterly audio-visual immersive cultural experience in celebration of its 35th anniversary. Presented by Miami creative agency DEFY, the series kicked off on March 21 with Latinx psychedelic band Inner Wave, and will feature indie rock band TOPS on June 20, electro-pop band Men I Trust on September 19, and another act to be announced for November 21.
The series delivers an all-encompassing experience of art, theater, and music on PAMM’s waterfront terrace. In addition to live music, immersive theater production Miami Motel Stories will host flash theater experiences inside the museum, drawn from Miami’s past, present, and future. Presented by Juggerknot Theatre, written by Juan C. Sanchez, and directed by Tai Thompson, Miami Motel Stories’ flash experience will depict dramatic and comedic tales driven by native characters that grab inspiration from an ever-changing cultural landscape.
Museum member pre-sale tickets go on sale on Monday, May 20 with general pre-sale on Thursday, May 23. To become a member, visit pamm.org/support.
