OPEN CALL FOR BAKEHOUSE SUMMER PAINTING OPEN
Deadline: Monday, April 27, 2020, 5PM EST
Bakehouse Art Complex is accepting applications from artists who want to participate in our first Summer Painting Open. The program offers free space to artists working in painting and two-dimensional media. Bakehouse will turn its 2500 sq. ft. gallery into a communal studio, offering artists a place to work, foster relationships, and engage with Bakehouse’s community of artists.
Artists will be selected by a jury of artists and cultural professionals. Artists are expected to bring their own materials and anything they need to create their work. Selected artists will receive 24/7 access to the space.
Summer Painting Open will run from Monday, June 1 – Friday, July 31, 2020.*
The application deadline is Monday, April 27, 2020, 5PM EST.
The original deadline of Wednesday, April 15 has been extended to Monday, April 27, 2020.
Selected artists will be notified and announced by Friday, May 8, 2020.
