Miami Children’s Museum & Britto Bringing Art to Children Through Museum at Home @MiChiMu #HappyArtBritto

Artist Romero Britto, founder of the Happy Art Movement and world-renowned for his unique works of art, has joined the Miami Children’s Museum to bring fun and creative art projects to children and families through “Museum At Home,” a virtual learning space available on the Museums’ website and through their social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. In his first project, Romero will demonstrate how to draw a heart with wings; a figure he has used on some of his own pieces.

Miami Children’s Museum understands that families are being challenged to fill their children’s days with enriching activities and many parents are concerned that their children will fall behind developmentally. The Museum recognizes how daunting and stressful this is and has launched “Museum at Home,” in an effort to bring exciting and helpful virtual programs to families to support learning and development.

In hopes to inspire happiness in the world through his art and keep children and families entertained at home, Romero Britto has risen to the challenge and is creating a variety of art projects that children will find entertaining and exciting. The first project a heart with wings puzzle, has particular significance as the Museum celebrates Autism Awareness Month.

The Museum will be releasing Britto’s art projects, along with the rest of the virtual learning programs, like musical story time and at-home art projects, which will be released every other day.

They will be available on the following platforms:
