Co-founder and longstanding board member of the National YoungArts Foundation, LIN ARISON was recently honored at the White House with the 2012 National Medal of Arts, presented by President Barack Obama. Lin is among a group of esteemed honorees including Ellsworth Kelly, Tony Kushner, George Lucas and Renée Fleming who received the award, in recognition for her contributions as a philanthropist and advocate for arts education. This award acknowledges her tireless commitment over the past 32 years in encouraging, educating, supporting and showcasing the next generation of American artists.
