Mirror of the Mind: Figuration in the Jorge M. Pérez Collection
El Espacio 23 (EE23) — the contemporary art space founded by leading philanthropist, entrepreneur and art collector Jorge M. Pérez — has unveiled its highly anticipated fifth exhibition, Mirror of the Mind: Figuration in the Jorge M. Pérez Collection. Inspired by the entangled and inseparable relationship between the physical and emotional aspects of the body, the cross-media exhibition examines how artists from different generations and contexts utilize figuration and portraiture to explore the complexities of the human condition. Mirror of the Mind features works from over 120 artists, including Jared McGriff, Shirin Neshat, Anselm Kiefer, Marta Minujin, La Chola Poblete and Carrie Mae Weems.

- EE23 is open Thursday through Saturday, 10am to 5pm, and will have special hours during Miami Art Week. Admission is free and walk-ins are welcome.
