Members of the Miami Dolphins brought holiday cheer to 20 teenagers from HANDY in Broward and Camillus House in Miami this afternoon. These students received gift cards courtesy of Dick’s Sporting Goods, the Miami Dolphins Foundation and Jeff Peck. Students shopped with a current player, cheerleader and Miami Dolphins Women’s Organization (MDWO) representative. Additionally, Hooters provided food for the teens at the event.
“It was great to spend our time today with the kids,” said offensive lineman Nate Garner. “We loaded their baskets with a bunch of stuff for both the students and families and it was pretty cool.”
Current players Charles Clay, Pat Devlin, Michael Egnew, Brandon Fields, A.J. Francis, Nate Garner, Brian Hartline, Reshad Jones, Jordan Kovacs, Rishard Matthews, Koa Misi, Austin Spitler, Caleb Sturgis, Michael Thomas and Philip Wheeler took part in today’s event.
