You are invited to celebrate the end of summer on Thursday, August 15 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. during our Member Evening: Farewell, Summer. It’s the perfect chance to experience our special exhibition, The Secret World Inside You, before it closes on September 8. You’ll also be able to take a voyage to space with the new Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission poster exhibition in the Main Atrium. Plus, don’t miss an incredible new photo exhibition in the Dive level of the Aquarium featuring the contest winners of the 2019 Annual Underwater Photography Contest, hosted by the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science.
Throughout the night, you’ll also have the opportunity to…
- Come face-to-face with one of our rehabilitated raptors. Learn about their journey and fun facts about their species.
- Take some ‘beaming’ shots with your friends and family at our photobooth.
- Look up at the summer sky with our telescopes and take a peek at Jupiter, Saturn and the Moon (weather permitting).
- Access select museum exhibitions* and shop after-hours at the Science Store until 9:00 p.m. where you’ll receive 20% off your entire purchase. (Member discounts are normally 10%)
