As part of Yoplait’s Save Lids to Save Lives campaign, Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc., (NASDAQ: WINN) will welcome Latin celebrity and soap opera star Adamari López to a local Winn-Dixie in Hialeah. Committed to educating and reinforcing the importance of early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer among the Hispanic community, López will share her personal story of breast cancer survival with shoppers. In addition, guests have the opportunity to enjoy product samplings, giveaways, meet Adamari López and more.
Yoplait’s Save Lids to Save Lives campaign raises awareness and money for breast cancer research each year during September and October by donating 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure for every pink lid that is sent in.
