As part of “Scoop for Success”, EPIC’s Area 31 Executive Chef John Critchley has created two signature ice cream desserts – Peach Bombe (Georgia peach sherbet with brown butter-almond ice cream, coffee butter crumbs and cinnamon cream), and The Melon (compressed melons, ras el hanout ice cream, mint ice cream and local honeycomb).

July 15 – EPIC Ice Cream Social
As part of “Scoop for Success”, dozens of Ice Cream Socials are being held at Kimpton hotels nationwide, EPIC is extending its daily complimentary wine hour guest program on July 15 as it partners with Area 31 restaurant to host an Ice Cream Social on the 16th floor pool deck beginning at 5:00pm. Open to both guests and locals, scoops of ‘housemade’ ice cream will be available for $3-$5 with all proceeds benefiting Dress for Success on a national level. Exhale Spa will also be on hand providing complimentary mini-manicures in sorbet shades, and Area 31 will offer its $35 per person prix fix menu. July 23 – Third Annual Mad Hatters for Success Afternoon Tea at EPIC
Later in July, EPIC presents the annual Mad Hatters for Success event with an elegant high tea at the hotel’s Area 31 restaurant from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Guests are encouraged to wear their “maddest hats” while savoring teas, champagne, sandwiches, petit-fours and more, and enjoying fashion and the fashionable. August 19 – EPIC Back to Scoop
Before heading back to school, EPIC will extend its daily complimentary wine hour guest program once again on August 19, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, as it hosts another ice cream social event with Area 31 restaurant on the 16th floor pool deck for guests and locals, and serves up scoops of ‘housemade’ ice cream for $3-$5 with all proceeds benefiting Dress for Success Miami. Following the event, Area 31 restaurant will offer its $35 per person prix fix menu.
