Malika Haqq is an emerging young actress who is best known as a reality star from “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and as Khloe Kardashians best friend and former personal assistant. She is also a regular on E! Network’s hit reality show, Khloe and Lamar. Malika’s other credits include The Bernie Mac Show, “Somebody Help Me 2” and Strong Machine.
After a successful debut in 2010, the suspenseful thriller “Somebody Help Me 2” is now available on DVD from Vivendi Entertainment which features Malika and former boy band artists Marques Houston and Omarion.
The heart-pounding drama intensifies in what has become a camp classic for lovers of the urban horror genre. Marques Houston (Somebody Help Me, You Got Served, Fat Albert) stars as a desperate man that must find a way to rescue his loved ones from the torturous clutches of a madman bent on bringing his victims to the breaking point.
Premier Guide Media caught up with Malika to chat a bit about the DVD release, Rob Kardashian and more.

It must have been a lot of fun working with Marques Houston and Omarion on Somebody Help Me 2?
Malika Haqq: There were a lot of crazy, funny days but they are very professional. We are great friends and it was good to actually work with them. I am just lucky to be a part of the very scary number two.
Tell us a bit about Jasmine, the character you play in this movie?
Malika Haqq: She is a bit of a sneaky one. I don’t want to tell you exactly because I feel like I will blow it. She gives you a little bit of twist you might not see some things coming with her.
Are you currently dating?
Malika Haqq: I am
You have an interesting relationship with Rob Kardashian. Tell us about that.
Malika Haqq: What do you want to know?
Everything.
Malika Haqq: At some point someone may have had a relationship similar to the one that I have with Rob. It’s not necessarily a serious relationship but like a harmless flirtatious relationship.
Would you like to have your own reality show?
Malika Haqq: I am open to it. I am really happy on Khloe and Lamar but I definitely would not turn down like a spin-off or something. You know acting is my first, but its definitely something that I spent time doing.
What is the best part of being on the show?
Malika Haqq: Working together with Khloe in a more artistic way. Long hours with my best friend doing what we both love.
How is your acting career coming along, now that you are no longer, Chloe’s assistant?
Malika Haqq: Pretty good. It’s different for me. I have worked by myself but I am very used to acting with my sister. And Somebody Help Me 2 was one of the defining moments that let me know that I can do this by myself. So it’s a jumping off point really.
Speaking of sisters, you have a twin sister whom we do not see much of. How is your relationship with her?
Malika Haqq: My relationship with my sister is great. I think television portrays just what you see with Khole’s show. It is a portion of our lives; it’s not our entire life. You get a look into Khole and Lamar’s life and you see that I am a part of that. You also see my sister as well, but they have so many things going on. But we are all very close. My relationship with my sister is a very special one she is my family and she is my twin.
What other projects are you working on?
Malika Haqq: There are a few things that I am not at liberty to speak about but you can look forward to seeing me in film and television soon. I’m reading scripts and looking forward to more feature film projects. I’m looking for a really good commercial agent who can pursue product endorsements for me to take that aspect of my work to a new level.
