International Mango Festival

 Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15 from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

   The 20thAnnual International Mango Festival – “Mangos at Fairchild: Evolution” – celebrates the growth and development Florida’s beloved tropical fruit has undergone since first being planted in Fairchild’s rich soil. Through lectures, cooking demonstrations, samplings, sales, and children’s activities, visitors learn the differences among mangos cultivars around the globe. They also have the opportunity to purchase mangos from the mango fruit market, buy Curator’s Choice mango trees and bid on a variety of mangos at the world’s only mango auction.

 

WHO:             Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden sponsors the International Mango

Festival for the benefit of mango enthusiasts, visitors and members.

 

WHEN:        Saturday, July 14 and Sunday, July 15 from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

 

WHERE:       Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Road, Coral Gables, FL.

 

WHY:              With 20 years of experience in organizing this event, Fairchild has made The International Mango Festival a unique, enjoyable and educational experience, offering activities, food and entertainment for every age and interest. Proceeds go toward Fairchild’s continuing programs in education, research, horticulture and conservation.

 

ADMISSION: Admission is $25 for adults, $18 for seniors, $12 for children 6-17 and

 free to children 5 and under and Fairchild members.
