GBS, The Beauty Store is proud to announce the launch of a new 3,600 square foot full-service, beauty store and salon in Boca Raton located at 21306 St. Andrews Blvd. Just steps from GBS’ former Boca Raton location, in the Town Square Plaza, the launch of the new, larger store is slated to coincide with GBS’ 32nd Anniversary this year.
In celebration, GBS will host a three-day Beauty & Fashion Extravaganza being kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony with Boca Raton Mayor, Susan Whelchel, on Thursday, February 24th at 4:30 p.m. Representatives from marquee hair and skin care brands will be on hand to offer complimentary hair and skin treatments and consultations. Guests will also enjoy cocktails, light bites, giveaways and samples. The three-day schedule of events are as follows:
- Thursday, February 24th, 2011, “Oscar Night” – Feel all the glamour of the Oscars when GBS’ team of beauty experts and industry representatives perform live demonstrations of the hottest red carpet hair and makeup trends. GBS will also dish on the stars’ “problem solving” secrets from Hollywood Fashion Tape to Miss Opps deodorant stain remover.
- Friday, February 25th, 2011, “Beauty Around the World” – GBS will say “Bon Voyage” as you embark on a journey sampling beauty products from across the globe. Travel from Europe to the Far East, and everywhere in between, where each “stop” will feature a native cocktail to give shoppers a real taste of international culture.
- Saturday, February 26th, 2011, “Fashion Frenzy” – As you fill your beauty bag with the new spring colors, learn how to replicate hair and makeup trends from New York Fashion Week with live demonstrations. To complete the Fashion Week experience, streaming throughout the day will be behind-the-scenes beauty footage from New York Fashion Week’s spring shows.
