From Harlem to Overtown Brunch
hosted by Marcus Samuelsson and Melba Wilson

Sunday, February 23
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Red Rooster Overtown
920 NW 2nd Avenue
Miami

The Festival is teaming up once more with James Beard Award-winning chef, Food Network personality, cookbook author, and this year’s Tribute Dinner honoree Marcus Samuelsson to offer guests an insider look at his new Overtown restaurant! This year, he is joined by Melba Wilson, whose eponymous soul food eatery, Melba’s Restaurant, has become a Harlem, NY staple known for its line-up of Southern cuisine. Kick-off the afternoon while checking out Samuelsson’s brand new space, then prepare for an all-American comfort brunch rooted in Southern and Caribbean cuisine. Enjoy live music while noshing on ribs, fried chicken, collard greens, and more that honor the spirit and vivacity of Harlem’s food, culture and people!
