The fourth annual Dolphins Cycling Challenge (DCC), a two-day, cycling event with ten ride options from 13-170 miles, benefiting the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, will take place on November 2nd and 3rd, 2013. This vital community initiative is a collaborative effort between the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, with 100% of rider-raised funds going directly to the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The DCC is dedicated to raising funds for lifesaving cancer research at Sylvester. It serves the mission by donating 100% of the money raised by the riders to Sylvester; supporting healthy lifestyles; and encouraging community awareness, education and support of cancer research at Sylvester.  In the past three years, the DCC has been an enormous success, attracting more than 3,000 participants and raising almost $4,000,000 for cancer research and treatment at Sylvester.

All adult riders will receive two (2) complimentary tickets to the Miami Dolphins game versus the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, November 24th. Riders who attend the game will be honored in a special on-field pre-game ceremony celebrating their fundraising efforts.  There is a registration fee of $150 per rider and a fundraising goal ranging from $250 to $1200, depending on the ride selected.  100% of the rider-raised funds will go to the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The DCC is actively seeking participants, corporate partners, and volunteers to assist the Miami Dolphins Special Teams volunteer corps.
