Florida Panthers to Hold PA Announcer and Anthem Singer Auditions at BB&T Center

The Florida Panthers announced today that the team will hold auditions for a PA Announcer and Anthem Singer for the 2015-2016 season on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at BB&T Center. Guests are asked to enter the arena through Gate 5, proceed through the Lexus tunnel, turn left out of the tunnel and turn left into the Media Production Lot. Guests will enter BB&T Center through the Press Entrance.

 

The PA Announcer serves as the main voice of the Florida Panthers during home games. Duties include announcing starting line-ups and scratches, goal announcements, public address announcements, as well as other assigned tasks. The PA Announcer must be present at all Panthers home games and comfortable speaking in front of large crowds. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus. The Anthem Singer will be responsible for singing the U.S. National Anthem prior to the start of all Florida Panthers home games, as well as the Canadian National Anthem at select Florida Panthers home games. The Florida Panthers will select a main singer and back-up singer. Anthem Singers must be present at all Panthers home games and comfortable singing in front of large crowds. Anthem Singers are welcome to bring demo reels or online portfolios of their work on the day of the audition. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and auditions begin at 5:00 p.m.
