Florida International University School of Hospitality and Tourism Management’s Distinguished Alumni Gather for Orlando Reception

Presidents, vice presidents, directors and managers of some of the most influential hospitality corporations in the U.S. gathered recently in Orlando, FL., with a common interest – their alma mater, Florida International University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM).   One of the leading programs of its kind in the world, the FIU HTM offers those studying hotel, foodservice and tourism an unmatched experiential learning environment. During the reception, which was held in tandem with the Florida Restaurant & Hotel Association Convention and Trade Show, distinguished alumni gathered to network with existing contacts and, in some cases, renew old friendships.

Florida International University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, in collaboration with Peter Capodice, an alumnus who sponsored the reception, welcomed the group and introduced a new video on the School highlighting their recent accomplishments and recognitions. Held at the Bella Trae Clubhouse, attendees included Charles Savarese, president of HospitalityStaff; Philippe Villain, vice president of ARAMARK; Lani Kane-Hanan, senior vice president of Marriott Vacation Club International; Allison Frohmann-Bolanovich, director of resort sales for Universal Orlando Resort; Jim Inglis, program director and professor at the Valencia Community College Hospitality & Tourism Institute; and Peter Capodice, President of Capodice & Associates. FIU HTM enjoys the ongoing support of its prominent and actively engaged alumni, which helps maintain the school’s competitiveness and superior standing.
