Gables Ponce is the new luxury rental apartment community located at the gateway to historic Coral Gables. To celebrate its grand opening, the property hosted “A Night of Discovery,” in which guests were invited to experience its many amenities through a Latin-infused, progressive-style event. A fashion show coordinated in conjunction with the Village of Merrick Park and famed Miami fashion blogger Annie Vazquez of TheFashionPoet.com took place on a runway over the pool, just after Coral Gables Mayor Jim Cason conducted the ribbon cutting ceremony emceed by CBS 4 entertainment reporter Lisa Petrillo. Additionally, guests explored model units throughout the building, which were transformed into a dessert lounge hosted by Epicure Gourmet Market (opening at Gables Ponce this fall), a pet-friendly lounge with furry companions from Friends Forever Rescue and take-home dog treats, and a Cuban coffee bar. Additional entertainment included gypsy flamenco guitar and Latin dance performances on the pool deck, and blackjack and interactive mojito mixing in the property’s sports and gaming lounge.
